Simple Shrimp Recipes For The Perfect Party Appetizers
Serving shrimp can be a fantastic way to surprise your loved ones since it’s considered to be a specialty in most countries. They are fun, easy to eat, and super simple to prepare. The recipes you will find below are easy to cook and satisfy a wide arrange of tastes, so you will likely find something to suit you.
1. The Devil’s Shrimp
– 1/2 teaspoon of ground coriander
– 1/2 teaspoon of ground paprika
– 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
– 1 tablespoon of olive oil
– rinsed beans (canned is ok)
– 1 cup of couscous
– 1 chopped shallot
First, find a large bowl and put the couscous in it. Pour some hot water into the bowl and add about 1/4 of teaspoon worth of salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients just a little bit, then let them sit for about 5 minutes straight. You can use the time to heat the oil in between (make sure it’s on medium-high heat).
The next step is adding the coriander, paprika, shallot, shrimp, and about 1/2 worth of salt, then cook for about 5 minutes. Move the shrimp to a plate and move to the next step.
Add some beans, a bit of water and vinegar and cook for about 5 minutes, then move it to a plate.
Optional step: add some parsley.
2. Grilled Shrimp on a Stick
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– tomato sauce
– red wine vinegar
– chopped basil
– olive oil
– minced garlic
– cayenne pepper
Find a large bowl and put together a mixture of tomato sauce, garlic, vinegar, and oil. Moderately add some pepper, salt, and basil. After that’s done, add some shrimp, until you feel the mixture is evenly spread out. Put a cover on and put the entire mixture into the fridge. Leave it there for 30-60 minutes straight.
The next step is to heat the grill (medium heat). Put shrimp onto the skewers. Make sure it’s evenly spaced. You can start by putting one shrimp on one stick, and one on the other, until all of them have at least one piece. Then just continue until you run out of shrimp. The marinade can be safely discarded.
Make sure to grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side. The meal is ready to be served.
3. Potsticker Shrimp
– peeled shrimp
– an egg
– minced scallion
– peanut oil
– 3 chopped scallions
– soy sauce
– chili sauce
– 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
– 1/2 teaspoon of minced ginger
– 3 chopped garlics
– dipping sauce
Start by loading the food processor with garlic, soy sauce, an egg, shrimp, and scallions. Blend until it’s mixed well, but not too much. Find a bowl and pour in the mixture. Get a wrapper and put about 1 teaspoon of filling right in the center. Make the wrapper wet by adding just a little bit of water. Fold it and seal firmly.
Find a small stirring bowl, then just mix the ingredients together until they’re mixed well. Get a pan and add some oil. When you see the oil beginning to swirl a bit, add the potstickers and cook until you see a nice golden-brown color. Flip the mixture around a bit and add two or three ice-cubes. It’s important you cover the pan afterwards as soon as possible. Leave it cooking for 3 minutes.

4. Thai Shrimp
– peanut butter
– lime wedges
– peeled shrimp
– dark sesame oil
– chili sauce
– snow peas
– 1 teaspoon of garlic
– teriyaki sauce
– dry-roasted peanuts
Follow the package-instructions in order to cook the pasta, but make sure no salt is placed in there. Drain it and set it somewhere it won’t get in the way.
Put some chili sauce, teriyaki sauce, and water into a bowl, add some peanut butter, then stir it all together.
Find a pan and put some sesame oil into it. Make sure the heat is medium-high. After adding some garlic, let it sit there for about a minute straight. Add shrimp, then wait another 2 minutes. Add the teriyaki sauce mixture, and then proceed to cook it for another 2 minutes.
The next step is to add some snow peas and pasta. Cook for two minutes, and make sure you stir it well. Throw some peanuts and cilantro in there, but do it in moderation.
Optional step: add some lime wedges.
Put everything on a plate and serve the meal when ready.
